I just got laptop from my friend. He was moving out and he gived it to me. Laptop has ubuntu os (13.10) in it. I think it's very nice, but i have problem with cs2d. When i launch cs2d i got this at first time:

but then i made some research and found one theard. That said you must chmod cs2d. I did it like this:

after i did chmod i didn't get any popup window. Nothing just happened when i clicked at run counterstrike2d.

Things that i have done
- I have downloaded cs2d win archive then linux client.
- Installed libstdc++5. As you can see here:

- Did chmod cs2d

type this in terminal..
I think u don't have 32 bit libraries.

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

then type

1
./counterstrike2d
or double the icon.

After you did the chmodding and installation of libstdc++, what error/s did you get?

EDIT: Best to launch it from the command line to see if CS2D reports anything.
