If I saw a person with my name in another server, I'd actually be quite amused to find that someone is using my name. Gosh, I'd feel famous
However, if it was in my own server, I'd probably ask to change the name as it can create misunderstanding. Your case is not that so just follow my tips and that'll be enough. If you really want it, you can always ban him.
