I've been working on this project for more than 3 years now (counting in the learning time).
The game is a top down online fantasy adventure game,
where you as a hero can developed your hero,
experience the story and participate in awesome events.

[Latest Video Update]

In short terms what's currently done:
- I've written my own server, which is made using authoritative approach.
- Developed a very strong base for future development.
- Currently working on game and graphics itself - preparing for kick-starter.

For example, here's a small glimpse of server in action and one of the tools.

------------------------------
Currently working on nice smooth character controllers for couple enemies, here's a demo with skeletons, which nicely look at the target regardless of the position.
You might need to install unity plugin though, its about 300kb.

Controls:
WASD to move right, left,up,down
QE to move forward and backward.

I think it will be like Skyrim? An indie version of it maybe. Anyway the game seems to be nice, the picture is epic, I love it.

Is it moddable? If yes, then this is what I have been looking for my whole life.
It is epic.

It looks great from what I've seen. Just don't turn it into one of those games where you have to grind for HOURS for EVERYTHING. I also like what you're doing with magic.

Looking forward to try it out, good luck!

Thanks for comments, quite active community here!

@Elfing I completely agree, grinding is a cheap way to add gameplay hours and then market it like its actually valuable gaming time. Instead of grinding, i want players to actually invest that time in resource gathering. For example animal skinning, in most of the games you kill the npc and simply loot it. I want to create a minigame type of skinning, where the better you skin the better the quality of components. Which means you can sell them for larger price or craft better durability items.

@gamu5 I don't think its should be right to allow complete modding. But, i do want to allow custom data integration for certain things, for example, tailoring guild embed on trade booth.

@gamu5 The idea itself is not extremely hard, but what do you think will be the first thing users would create, of course dick monsters. The problem is not a solution, but how to not let users break the atmosphere for other users.

This game project will have also a singleplayer adventure/missions to accomplish or something like that?

@ZxC Yes, but all of that only in multiplayer. The internet protocol is extremely lightweight, so users will be able to play even on their tablets on not so good wifi.

@_Yank Interesting question, the short answer is no.

The long answer is that this kind of project, in many areas came up quite forgiving in many development areas.
Which saves time, considering i am a single dev.

Same goes with multi device support, such gameplay is ideal for tablet devices, and if i add dynamic controller (one input for movement, other for look direction), then it would be even much more dynamic gameplay for pc and consoles. And such games aren't really made much, so there's quite a huge community for such classic games.

Plus, i have a lot of awesome ideas and i want to prove myself and create those features and this project.

This is probably the most said statement by any video game developer after "why the fuck isn't this working!?"

I had those moments years ago, right now, blocks like 'i dont want' or 'why this isnt working' aren't existing for me, i simply do it. Without mentioning that i work on this project 10-14 hours daily.
