Ok so this is the question, back like 4 years ago there was the same person but with 2 accounts, if u don't know what i mean, what i'm saying is there can be like 2 abc123's controlled by the same person, i'm wondering how do you even do it? (and no i am not gonna use it for bad purposes like kicking innocent people) and also, is this illegal in cs2d?

Oh, the thread title is a bit misleading. It's not "multiple accounts" but "multiple players" or "multiple clients" controlled by the same user.

This is easily possible because you can start CS2D multiple times. Of course it's stupid and nonsense to do so. The only good reason to do this is for testing stuff like Lua scripts locally but you shouldn't do that on live game servers with other people playing because it's just stupid and annoying.

CS2D has a protection against that though:
cs2d cmd mp_maxclientsip
If this is set to 1 by the server only 1 person from the same network will be allowed to join the server.

The default is 5 because there might be multiple people sharing the same network. E.g. siblings, friends playing together at the same place etc.

So "is it illegal"? Not really, depends on the server owner how he handles it but most people won't like you if you're doing stuff like that. It's very annoying and can even be used for cheating.
Does it make sense and should you do it? No, please just don't do it!
