I downloaded Stranded and unzipped the files into a new folder, and attempted to run the game. The DOS window appears, and then I get an error message: "Memory access violation", and the game will not load.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I am running Win98 SE.

its an often found error, try to redownload it, unzip it new and test it then, if it doesnt work, try to download Stranded 2 and test if this game works.
blitz3d, the programm with which stranded was made has problems on some pcs

well, so far there was only one person with this problem wink


don't think so, there were more often mavs at gamestart and DC said that they are caused by blitz3D
