I `ve played a old version and i got flashed by myself .. and it take the right time.
but when i am flashed in this version it looks like it is too little.

Or it could be a new command in the console? like mp_nadetime, or sv_grenade_explode_time. Could be a bit longer, but the best would be if you can choose in options or ingame (right mousebutton)

by now its pretty much obvious that it will be increased to 1.8 seconds.

Yes I've played CS 1.6 and CS Source,
and your assumption is wrong, because in those games grenades are of less importance and more of a "usefull tool" like I stated many times before. You don't see constant bombardment even in rare cases in those games, because in those games the primary function to kill is with your primary guns, not HE's, not to mention the timing explosion is alot more delayed then CS2D's. So in CS2D it's alot easier to get killed by HE's and Flashbangs, by the obvious fast explosion reason.
This is in part to se_ba's and anyone else who will argue on a generic assertion.
HE is not a god weapon. HE is however overpowered. There's a clear delineation, and that delineation is formed from the perceptual interpretation of the two words. A person who wields an HE almost always have a significant advantage over those who don't. This is what I and many others define as 'overpowered'
2-tier argument against the CS argument.
1. The HE usually does minimal damage to a player in CS.
2. Throwing a Flashbang directly at an enemy for actual damage constitutes less then 1% of the usage of a flashbang.
Also, showing us one screenshot of its possibility doesn't in any way justify this. In the same way that a specific case can not be used to warrant a generalization.

maybe easier kill but when u cover behind wall u dont lost hp. u realy remember 0.4? u remember flash granades there? got flashed was very hard x] and buying it is not sense. granades now is very good i think. maybe powerfull and range but timing explosion is ok
btw. flaesh granades are best in css/cs1.6 than cs2d
when u got 3 flashes in css when enemy rushing (ex. long in de_dust2 when terro rush and throwing flahes from doors and from up) u probably die look in cs2d u cant flash people in same positions or in cs2d u cant turn back and got smallest flash effect. x] se_ba has written

debate but sH isn't in the list of one of the oldest clans.
The oldest clans are pre-0.1.0.3 version such as the old Storm_PL, when STORM wasn't international but just for Polish.

And yeah your right, in 0.4 it was alot harder getting your nade throws correctly thrown then it is now, making it a lot more interesting and opens the gameplay up for more tactics instead of determining the winner by how easily he killed an enemy with a HE, or Flash'd + Rushes in other cases. Remember, the primary focus to take out enemies is with your primary weapons.

and we shouldnt change nades... primary waepon is not powerful like in another cs then we need power of he and flashes btw. yeah storm is oldest than sH - 3 months

Try playing CS2D for atleast 3 years before attempting to dismiss my statements as "bullshit".
I think that the 1.8 delay is way too exagerated, anyways, players (pro players and noobs) aren't the ones who control CS2D, it's DC. So it's worthless to flame here or saying that things like:
"DC is a noob because AK sux"
"DC is a noob because CS2D is 2D"
"DC is a noob because USGN isn't always online when I want to play CS2D"
I've seen a lot of people (or childs) saying things like that in game, but Pro made a post argumenting his suggestion without saying "DC noob" so I think he is in his right of suggesting...
You seem like a player who hasn't played since 0104 and starts complaining about things because they are not the way they used to be.
I remember when max was just released, SOO many people complained about the diagonal walk bug, now, you hear nobody about it. It's just something you'll have to adjust to.
