Sounds like fun but imo the last stage is complete bullshit. First of all it's a HUGE limitation to most of the mappers. For example a mapper that focuses on gameplay will have no problem while one that thrives through good looks will most likely stand no chance. Moreover, all the maps will look the same which is incredibly lame.

Making the tileset and selecting sprites is a very important aspect of creating maps, you should know that. Excuse me if I'm being rude but I find this ridiculous.

Let's see. The graphic parts I'll give are the ones from my last map, Woodshield. I suppose they look preety nice. All 3 mapmakers must make a balance between gameplay and design. It's true they'll probably look almost the same, but that will make my job even harder and I'll need to judge even better.

• They're like 3 cooks. They have the same ingredients, but in the end, the best taste wins. As I said, the winner is more than a good mapmaker, is a mapmaker that found the balance between graphics and gameplay, and he also adapted to the given situation.

And from my knowledge, a true mapmaker can make maps with anything. Even if you give him a poor tileset ( which is not the case ) he can manage to get something big from it.

Thank you,
Mapmaker.

P.S.: @user Time - I'm really sorry you won't join, 'cause if you'd there would be a great competition.

There is a load spike on the server. The providers' support team will take care of it and it will load faster soon. Sorry for this.
