becomes a toy-monster truck

Snark
becomes an exploding present

Zombie
becomes a Snowman (with a carrot *WOW*)

Soldier
becomes a christmas elf with a candy cane

Vortigaunt
becomes Santa himself with 2 hand-lasers camouflaged as presents

Updated: Present (Snark), Toy-Monster Truck (Headcrab) (harder shading)
Updated: Vortigaunt (Santa, now holding two totally awesome and insane laser-presents -> fits better to the vortigaunt's laser attack) + also harder shading
Updated: Snowman (Zombie): harder shadings, Christmas Elf (Soldier): same

finished final version; file contains both first and last version; picture 1: old npcs; picture 2: newest; picture 3: snowman.

Although it's still "a bit" early, merry christmas to you all. Hurray!!1

Try to use harder shadings.

I don't see any difference between height here, which is what gives 2D a good feeling to it.
