A CS2D map based on "Map 24 - Post Mortem" by Yonnatan Donner from the famous "Hell Revealed" (HR.WAD) megawad to "DOOM 2: Hell on Earth".

Made in Brazil by ChesireGuy from GameBanana. You may also know me there by my former nicknames: "JeanluccougarBR" and "Courage & Faith".

Suitable for Team Deathmatch.

The first map to put an end on my long hiatus of creating maps to CS2D, which'll be doing in my free time.
Also available on GameBanana - http://gamebanana.com/maps/191874

Have you found any bugs or wanna make suggestions ? Post them in the comments below.

√ Feel free to use my tileset in your maps, as long as you give me credit and don't claim it to yourself.

Oh my. A new face that's eager to improve. That is very rare here. I'll give you that.

@user Raisun: Thanks for your comment. I only took a portion of the map as a reference (the central platform) and from there I created this map. I may do only MP based DOOM in the future.

@user Rainoth: Thanks for your criticism. I believe I'll "fail" a lot before I get mapping right but I believe that's part of life: a bunch of "failures" before you finally get things right. I even downloaded a couple maps from here to learn some more.
Since GameBanana CS2D's page is a "ghost town" in comparison to here, I can't get feedback as much as I'm getting here. Also, thanks for your positive highlights.

@user Jite: Thanks for your criticism. I actually planned to make the "Cacoform" to integrate itself in the map and not be just a goofy placement for the sake of being "goofy". Looks like it didn't work out as I planned (sigh).
But like I said before, someday I'll get to make something less "silly", you know.

The mapexport layout remembered me this:

))
To your map, same as others already said.

Good concept.
It's not properly fleshed out, though.
For example you could have made sprites to fit more but you didn't.

Not a bad try but not worth to be kept in the archive IMO.

I like the idea, however, I don't think Doom maps fit CS2D well. You see, Doom was planned as a singleplayer experience (which is still astonishing), while CS2D is mostly multiplayer based. Nice work though.

You could try re-making some maps which are used in multiplayers ports of Doom.

@user SANTER: Thank you for the like.

@user Lobwver: Thank you for your criticism. I tried to create an "arena"-like map cattered to deathmatch games. Oh well.
Care to show me an example on good map layout ? Thanks in advance.

@user G3tWr3ck3d: What is a "mite" ?

A really intense description...

The map looks pretty weak for me, the layout is just awful.
By the way, is a decent try and good luck in your future works.
