∗ZombieQuest∗ is based only on maps no lua scripts or mods needed! It's basically 8 maps that continue onto the next after finishing the previous automatically (like a campaign)

EDIT: i did start 6 & 8 but i will not be continuing/finishing them. Instead my friend will make chapter 8 for me but i won't be releasing it for 2 reasons: 1. he hasn't let me 2. he doesn't want people to edit/remake/upload or comment on his maps (but you won't believe how good they are ) in 2007, 2008 and 2009 he got a award for designing/building maps (NOTE: this was in the company he works at not international. But it is still a rare thing for someone who's only been there for 4 years. This was in 2007 & 2009) and in 2008 he got the "Bob The Builder" award (i still laugh when i see the trophy XD) for the most detailed map (out of about 500) anyway back to chapter 8, 2Fast4You will have to make it because my friends will not be released

@magnahulk, there WAS a server but no one was interested so i shut it down and i might re-add if you really want but there are only 4 maps to actually do and when you finish them it'll just have to restart it from the start (at least you'll get a good view of the game so far :D)

@2Fast4You, true but only because i really can't be stuffed to make the most detailed map in the world (speaking of which for experiment lab if you want you could make it really high detail, if you've already done heaps or you don't want to restart then fine, But remember it's your choice, because it's your map :D) Peace Ninja_Assassin

i thought you would say that :P, i got some friends to test the maps and they noticed the bugs/glitches at first then i found some (i noticed 20 mins ago that i made at least 3 minor flaws in the lua for the first map) i didn't add the NPC commands and shops (when you say hi to the NPC it opens the shop, similar to tibias and rpgs) or even the NPCs for that fact anyways, hopefully they'll all be fixed in the upcoming week then i will upload (got 4 friends helping me, one is useless because he doesn't know anything about luas but he's good with maps)

I think I'm gonna add detailed graphics at my own version of the pack. Ninja wants the maps to have as much normal sprites etc. as possible.

1. why do i need to change name? i've made at the least 7-9 mappacks but im going over them for bugs and glitches (some have scripts some don't) henceforth Mappack Master

2. im familiar with triggers just not some of the more complicated stuff like messages triggering every x amount of seconds or if you do this it changes something somewhere else

3. (off topic) im pretty good with lua scripts (BUT i can't seem to make one bug free yet as there are usually a minimum of about 5-9) not every script is perfect though

Ninja, I think it's not a good idea to let the main character tell things about the infection. It's a cliché.

In most (reality) films the main character starts with telling his whole life to some unnotable person, and maybe it's cool there, but in a friggen SHOOTER GAME we don't have to describe such junk.

You'd better CREATE something, like an explosion won't fit if you want to show an atomic bomb explosion. You'd add stuff like radiation, a huge flash etc.

I think the best way to describe stuff in the (unfinished <- notice that) zq street map is to add much more zombies. It's not filled yet, like in the first 2 maps.

The goal of the maps is not to kill all zombies, but to continue to a next map. If the open zones wouldn't be there, it'd lack "freedom".
