About 2-3 years ago, a friend told me about a game called 'condition zero'. I typed in CS 1.6 in google, and it came up with CS2D. I realized I was playing on the wrong game the day after when he told me, but I never did get CS 1.6.
I stuck with CS2D.


So, when I first started playing CS2D, I had recently just been on (for the first time) CoD5 Nazi Zombies. I tried to remake the first map (nacht der untoten) without scripts, and I failed ..hard. So from then on for about a year all I wanted from CS2D was a script from which you can buy weapons off a wall, open doors for money, and eventually create perks. Then, about a year ago, Burex brought out his 'nacht der untoten' map and script. I spent about 5 hours a day for about a week just playing on it. (It was in the holidays) I took one look at the script, before making my first map, 'nzm_snow'. I then spent ages playing that map too. I then made more and more maps, Improving all the time. Eventually my last map came out, 'nzm_prone', which includes all the perks, has 18 guns to buy off the wall, 3 random boxes, 3 different perks, 7 doors and operatable triple turrets. I know I'm not a big hit, but I loved what I did.

Instructions
You start in the first room. You must press use (default key 'E') on any of the gun drawings on the wall, once you have the correct amount of money for it. The more the weapon costs, the better the gun is. You also press 'use' (default key 'E') on door switches, to unlock new rooms which will have better guns and possibly a random box. A random box is used by also pressing USE, (default key 'E')but it is a gamble. It costs 950 (on most maps) and you have no idea what you might be getting. It may be a Kar98k worth 200 points, or it might be the Raygun, worth about 20000 points. In a few maps there are perks, use them (they are the lit-up machines) to have an advantage on a normal survivor. EG: QuickRevive gives you 180-250 max health limit, whereas Juggernaut gives you Armour, and speedcola makes you faster. You kill Zombies to get points (may vary from 90-110 per kill).

Hello again!
I have recovered from my recent hard-drive wipe (July 21st, fateful day, lost Nazi zombies V1.2) and I will be working on this Mod again. First things first:
@user Kurumi: I will add your name there right away, after this comment .. :). Sorry about that
@user Majatek: Heheh, I also skip credits!
@user WinterPwnd: If it's okay with you, I shall add your map into the next Version of this mod - it looks real nice, although I haven't tested it yet. I also haven't read the credits, so I do not know if you have added scripts or not - if you haven't, I can add a big ol' script to it. If you have, then I will plonk it straight in after a test. With your permission, of course!
@user nitro123: It's a good idea and I have seen it before - I don't actually know how to script that at the moment, though. It may be seen in V1.2, but I don't quite know.

In V1.2, I will be looking at putting rounds into each map, and fixing a couple of them too. I will also add 1 - 2 maps of my own, and maybe 1 other, as seen in a reply-to-comment above .. :). I don't know if Terrorized666 is still active or still plays CS2D - but I may still include him as co-creator of the pack. There will also be a new intro, but that hardly matters. The rest, well I could say "It is for you to find out!" - but I have no idea myself what the rest of V1.2 will be. There will be a lot of changes though.

I think you should have barb wires to keep the zombies out (kinda like wood blocking the window) and every time a zombie hits barbed wire, it moves back a tile. Also players should be able to put the wires only in the windows and when they press e, it brings the wire to 100% again and also puts a barb wire. Heres a picture of what I mean:

Hey man, why didn't you give me credit for my reticule that you used? People are saying that I stole the reticule from your pack when in fact you're using my reticule in yours (which is fine with me, but without credit?)

Please fix this.

EDIT: Some sad news people. I have been told that Fizzykil is no longer working on this mod. And so he handed the project to me. I will be working on this as much as possible! I will not let you guys down!


@Fizzykil - I still think that I will make a censored version. I would hate for everyone in Germany to miss out on this.

Yah, I know about that already. I had already been working on it... I'm just looking for a good sound (or I'll just make one) and making sure the image fits... I'll get lots of time to work on this tomorrow night, Thursday and Friday (I don't work!). I may even look into the actual coding of the game (maybe).

hm, hadn't thought about that - keep the splash, I'll rename the actual title to CoDZombies 2D V1.2. The splash is too good to throw away plus you've worked hard on it, that shouldn't go to waste.
You know if you go to the GFX folder, then find the 'unrealsoftware.OGG' then you can edit it, so when it loads, instead of it saying
A game by
UNREALSOFTWARE
do not cheat (etc, etc)

It could say all that, but you could replace the Unrealsoftware thing with another spash or something? Just figured that out 2 days ago, I made like a mini spash saying 'Nazi Zombies 2D' in a cool font, but I'm sure you mighgt be able to do something better.. if that's ok? thanks for all the help so far btw.

So... if were taking out 'Nazi' from the game... am I gonna have to do even more work on the splash again?? Or can we just make 2 versions. One for Germany and anywhere else that anything with 'Nazi' is taken out, and one for everywhere else. (basically, one is censored and the other isn't.) Or will this just be to much work?

To make a player CT:

First, press 'TAB' (score) to bring up your score. Then, find the player that wants to be CT, and read the number to the left of that players name on the score (the player's ID)
For example, your's would be ID 1 if you are on your server.
Then go into console and type:
makect 1
That will then make you a CT.
you can also say 'maket' to make yourself a T.

I think its no offend to germany I see many maps are no remakes of the real nazi zombie mod of cod.
So the "nazi" part is not so important than the "zombie" part. I saw the new map on cod7. Lol. There are no nazi zombies anymore like in Nacht der Untoten (English: Night of the undeads)
And I have fun and many others, too.

And the german section (In UnrealSoftware) is not soo activ/online as the english section. Look at the uploaded scripts in german section and english section:

I really like the Sounds & Skins of the weapons.
It's not like the real CS2D. Its like HD CS2D ^^.

Lol. In the german version of COD5&COD7 is the zombie mod not include.
Because all games with "Nazi" things are illegal in germany. So this mod is cuted in germany.

In V1.2 I already have a few ideas, and you've just given me 2 more :).
I will make sure the zoom damages are changed
The 'carry 2 primary/secondary weapons' is intended. For example, if you're at the random box, Another factor of randomness is added, eg: "is it going to drop my weapon? Or will it let me keep it?". I just adds to the theme of gambling . Even if I did change it so your weapon is dropped after you buy another primary gun, when playing online, it would only happen for you, the host. The other players would always just have their guns piling up. Not sure why this is, but I have tried many times - just didn't work :(. And I see via the images you're on my favourite map :). Took me absolutely ages to make that one, the scripting is pretty massive for 1 thing, But the layout was just killing me :P. There are about 3 random boxes in that map, the last one gives you a better chance in getting an RPG, a rocket launcher, Raygun, and other decent guns. The doorway from the second-to-last room to the last room may not seem obvious at first!

You have a capital 'T' in the credits, but I won't be able to change the splash, for I was using 'paint' and I can't 'undo' and if I try to edit over it, it would look messy. Although, in screenshot 3 I had to edit over 'Can't add bot, server full!' (You may see a very small line of red on 1 of the middle obstacle tiles. And where the smoke suddenly cuts off, that's where the 'can't add' was)
I'll give it a go :P.

Haven't gotten to play it so far, but looking over the files, it seems you and Terrorized666 added some cool sound files which really brings the zombie theme to life.

Just skimming through the lua there was one thing you forgot, to change the zoom damage of sniper rifles. Which would be mp_wpndmg_z1 and mp_wpndmg_z2

Sorry I don't know how to make URL links here. But this means Scout does the same damage when zoomed in as it's unzoomed and AWP does half as much damage when 2x zoomed (150) then unzoomed (300).

And also it seems cs2d won't let me change the weapon damage of ak47, rpg, and fiveseven. I think it's fn57. Did anyone get this in cs2d?

when you go and buy a weapon, sometimes you can carry two of the same kind of weapon (not exactly sure of the conditionals), for example holding 2 pistols or 2 rifles.

It's really nothing to worry about, I know LaG uses this in [LaG] Fun, an example could be Laser+Teleport Gun. Notice how many guns I had to buy for it to happen.
Looking at the timer...I must have become addicted =O

Reminds me: In call of Duty you don't drop your guns but rather trade them. Therefore in Nazi Zombies you can't exchange guns with teammates (in COD). But if that were to be implemented in cs2d problems can occur, using the strip function instead of drop, you could strip your knife or something strange might happen and you loose all your other weapons. (Just a thought).

But it's kinda my fault for not telling you this earlier. Right now when I have time, I'll go play and come back.
