This is the first ever weapon and player/hostageskin pack in Counter-Strike 2D.
It simply replaces all skins of all weapons, player skins and hostages available in the game (with some few exceptions which can be viewed below).
I am sorry for those who expected a complete graphical makeover and didn't get it - I tried hard, but I just couldn't get what I wanted - so now I've given up on replacing other images such as tiles/backgrounds too.
----------------------------------
Here is a quick preview of all weapons available previous to CS2D b.0.1.2.0:
--------------------------------------------------
a brief look into the history of the weaponpack:
--------------------------------------------------
All Images are made by me from scratch except for:
- all Armors (took the shape and just recoloured a little; the drop images are by me though)
- claw (basic shape taken from original Weaponpack)
- coins (basic shape taken from original Weaponpack)
- gutbomb (didn't change it)
- noflag (didn't change it)
- wrench (just reshaped it)
- playerskins (basic shape taken from original image; changed in places)
- hostages (took the basic shape, most only recolour)
Just download it and extract into your Counter-Strike 2D folder!
------------------------------------------------------
Please rate if you like this weaponpack (and also rerate if you find it has got any better).
It is important for me to know what you think about it!
Also tell me what I could do better, and be constructive about your criticism!

If you happen to use this weaponpack in any unrealsoftware-related project, you are most welcome to as long as you note me (
Hador ) in the credits. If you plan to use it outside of unrealsoftware-related projects it would be nice if you informed me; and also note that the commercial use of this weaponpack or any part of it is only allowed if you discuss the matter with me first.

ALOT of effort into this. Though the laser is quite wierd, it's all good.
I'm gonna rate 5/5 since it's really hard to make all the weapons skins.
Quantity over quality

I see you put some effort into these graphics.
Well, the best thing in this weaponpack are clearly the pistols. The problem with the default "in-hand" pistol skins, all pistols look almost (besides deagle) identical. Your pistols are now easier (for me) to distinguish. With the default skin, if I see some terrorist attackin me with some black pistol I won't know which one he has in his hands until he shoots. Your pistol reskin clearly ends this drama, thanks a lot!!!
Except the USP, which is not included and looks without silencer 100% like P228 from above.
If you want to reskin the USP, try you best to make it look different from the P228, although it may be hard.
The P228 skin has a bug, it has a purple box. I've seen you used indexing in that BMP, but CS2D can't handle it. You must save it as a 24-bit RGB bitmap. And also it seems you didn't use magenta (0,255,255), just a color, that comes close to magenta but isn't. By the way, I fixed this issue quickly by myself.
The laser skin looks good with the green thing. But I'll stick to the original laser because it is illogical if the laser is also able to shoot red, blue and yellow beams. Yeah, you can't fix this, it is just my personal preference.
The M249 skin looks kinda weird. It looks like a gun which has been streched.
The grenades look good, but are way too oversized. Also, they don't rotate realisticly. They fly in circles, which looks kinda weird. So I'll stick to the original nades.
Some of the HUD icons are way oversized. Did you ever see how it looks like if the flamethrower or laser mine icon appears? It is just too big and looks like shit in the interface if the HUD icons intersect.
The Flare and the Air Strike look 100% identical. This is bad, because even the original files look different. A simple recolor should suffice to fix this. At least, these things rotate correctly.
The molotov cocktail has a wrong filename. You used the filename "molotovcoctail.bmp" instead of "molotovcoktail.bmp". Whoops!
The grenade launcher looks kinda good, too bad the grenade itselfs starts somehow from "within" the launcher which looks ... kinda stupid. Well you can't fix this issue, sorry. I won't use the grenade launcher.
And the other guns are like the M249 just too oversized and therefore I won't use them.
I give you 3 stars for you effort but not the full 5 because of the many glitches and bugs.
