quite an upgrade on the snowball script but you should add a pushing button if you are gonna implement red card system
when a player pushes the other player too badly the guy that pushes gets a red or yellow card
3 yellow cards and you are out and if 1 red card then you are out

Also try to implement all possible things in Lua related to soccer. A off-side function might be complicated, and bizarre if made in 2D, however it would be fun. One more thing, I don't know how it would be possible to gain cards. In suggestion, cursing/swearing would lead to yellow or red cards.

I have played this soccer mod before and I admire the mod alot. Although the cons is the server laggs and the ball just goes bananas and it's very confusing as the ball doesn't stop or loose speed after it's been kicked from the center of the pitch (if I remember right) so that's my criticism and opinion right now. Keep up the development of this mod, I appreciate a good soccer mod!

• it simply depends on the ping
• you can't even tell it that exactly
• the results do not express anything and are worthless

being not able to play is lame and no fun at all. therefore you shouldn't implement the red/yellow card stuff. it's not a good idea in my opinion.

Excelent lua!, I think Lag can't be a problem, it assumes that you will play with your friends, not strangers and ppl from other countries who will be lagged.

Sounds sensible considering there seems to be no damage at all from any opposing and or team players.

Hmm, I dont understand you very well (bad english).
But I say:
Players breaking by value of distance of their bodies.
I use my own trace system - about 5-20 steps in one frame.
If player have ping 100 then trace steps about 25-100.
If players hit something then they speed=-100 and they move with inertia.
