I decide to install Rise of Nations Gold today. It's my first time to install on my laptop. After installing i opened game and it opened enterance videos without problem but after entering game i recived an error like this:

Error
Rise of Nations cannot run with the monitor display mode set to 256 colours. Please change monitor display to 16-bit or greater.

Actually i dunno what's that mean and how to fix that. Anybody knows how can i fix that?
Also im using Windows 7

Thats weird try to reinstall the game restart laptop and install again,if there is custom instal option try to install it in that way maybe you can change something.I hope it will help.

I did but there's no custom install also nothing changed. Anyways thanks for help.

Thank you but i tryed same thing but nothing changed It was non selected so i opened with 256 but nothing changed only enterance videos are not watchable + pink

I know your problem then, i had this with Age of Empires II, just download this program: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ACW230QF

Then start it, and right click it's little icon on your taskbar and select Configure...
Add your game there and "Save and Hide", then start the game, that should fix issues with pink/red/green crap on your game.
