PS:

In my opinion it's good idea, and great chance to upgrade that game.

Or it could be used to buy the mp3 license
PS:
Youaserek somehow DC don't work in a team. But do you remember Notch? Would Minecraft get so popular so fast if he didn't make a developer team? I don't think so.

PS:

I don't get it... I fully support making a developer team and I'd love to hear that Mr Peter "DC" agrees to make Unreal Software something really big! : )

DC could get money to develop cs2d. and as a bonus, cs2d will more players as a result of the extra exposure.

"Moreover community isn't dieing in my opinion. It is just a summer holidays, people in a good state of mind are not gonna spend hundreds of hours to play a game instead of going outside... Just wait till the mid September and majority will return to the game."
U should see community in 2009. Is a pity that did not play in the league then bcs then you would see the difference. I see that right now very clearly.

Uhh, no. Usually during summer you get more players because of being having time to do nothing (summer break for kids, 4chan loves that.)

Very good idea, and I think that it will develop the game for various reasons.

Omg what a ppl - first read the topic, latter said something
Kickstarter.com don't take his developoing freedom -.- Ignoramuses who only speak but not read up on what's going on.

OK I red the whole topic, now explain where the heck money will go? To buy some more beer for DC? Those money won't go anywhere which is gonna help the development of the game...
BTW I saw community at 2009 and even before that and I can clearly say that community became a little bit smaller but as I said people will return after summer holidays.

Read the Kickstarter rules first then u will be know where money will go -.- What DC do whit this money it's not my bussines, I have hope it will motivate him to better and faster work on this project, maybe for some equpiment or special programs OR MAYBE for help in developing - I have hope DC will use that money's for Cs2D.

I know how kickstarter works, but unless there will be a specific goal (and some rewards for donators) this is gonna fail because no one outside of cs2d community will donate. Sorry for being skeptical but I don't think that this is gonna work, unless DC will create a dev team...

I don't agree, you was watched that projeckt from first post ? I think very big group of ppl from Kickstarter will love Cs2D and support that game.
And some rewards it's no problem, then map whit name of donators, special weapon, some extra skins, sounds, other menu look, the unique USGN numeber etc ... rewards are not a problem.

this is gonna fail because no one outside of cs2d community will donate.
People donated for a chicken game on Kickstarter. How will this fail?
