You can see if it opens on your computer.
By the way, mind you post how much GHz does your CPU have?

Btw, i am sure you will able to play at least with 30fps , which is totally enough.

It's a very demanding game due the garbage engine of Bohemia Interactive and huge amount of post-processing effects.
I suggest you not to buy the game, it's REALLY not worth paying for such an unfinished "game". Especially not if you can't even run it properly.
I have an octacore i7 running at 2.0Ghz (2.9Ghz turbo) along a Geforce GT540m (2GB ddr3) and I have an average of 25-35FPS on low-med settings and 720p resolution (and even though those specs are not that high it should still being able to run it at atleast 45FPS).
Although I can try it again, wait a little bit...
Edit: Didnt saw zeros reply. Yeah, i heard that its not worth it even tho my friends play it. Well, i wont buy this game then, should try H1Z1

Hiding Zero's reply in a spoiler since you quoted it is vague. Removed! /ZxC
If you want to play DayZ which is fun then get either Arma2:OA or Arma 3 and get the Epoch mod.

Which exact i7 model is that? Octacore? Are you sure it doesn't have 4 cores and 8 threads? Just curious.
