You can sleep full night with risk of dead by other player, or short time with no possibility to sleep then - You must wait to night. Player can control sleep time.

I think it would be better, if the MP just has the normal play mode and to improve that, is Mod compatible.
So if you want to play with mana etc, you can just install a mod for that.
but i would not like stranded 2 to get a fight only mp game, because i want to build a little town with my friend and so.

About sleeping, i know it's a big problem on multiplayer, but i have an idea. a var local to the machine (but not a local var) can control the hour. on sleeping, the hour is set back to the var and then forward 8 hours through the var, so when someone sleeps in the day it dosn't turn night for everyone else. Then, other vars inplace of the regular shelter and other sleep needs. Thus, it is only "virtual" sleeping so it will vary the time of day on each players machine. I also think when someone dies they can be respawned (if set), or they're ip is blocked from the game until a new one starts.
Another idea and problem for making mp is the players. If one person gets hit, everyone gets hit, same thing with finding stuff, attacking, building, and even moving. My idea is that the source code could be edited so the player is a certin var. lets call this var $playerid. this ranges from 1-99, the reserved ids. When someone joins, another var(lets call it $gameid) is added by one.
then the $playerid is equal to the next avalible spot ($gameid) and the editscript command could be used to edit the script so it is equal to $playerid. the $playerid dosnt change when the $gameid does, so the id is different for each player. This might eliminate several of the problems. Hope this helps.

and you got it: you explained the reason for the existence of the reserved unit ids. in fact they only exist because I planned to use them for a multiplayer mode (low IDs because they fit in one byte which means less traffic). multiplayer was planned in the beginning of development but I didn't care about it in later development so it has never been realized.

I think sleeping must be disabled. (smaller arcade mode, only without tiredness)

I think you need to stay in the present; multiplayer capability does not exist yet. You shouldn't be thinking about the bells and whistles of multiplayer when it's not available.

Though for sleeping, I was thinking. Why not just have a player sleep in real time, but exhaustion goes down very quickly. ie, the player only has to sleep for 1-2 minutes.

Now about other things:
Stamina- Could be nice. Lets say there would be Shift button for running and when there is no stamina you cant run.
Sleep system- well i think that better sleep system would be nice, but i dont really care.
Thats it. Again i mention how SII would be great in LAN P.S. Sorry for bad english(if its bad i am from Lithuania)

There should a 3rd person view too just like TES:morrowind

We should be able to make things in a forge or something and there should be a shop which sells weapons which change from time to time

It would create a great open ended RPG
