How to make sfx for weapons with microfone

hello, i got a problem i cant save a fouce of an weapon... i tryed to do with an program but the voice of that weapon comes very ugly i mean very low sound..
do any one know how to do? i just start an game and make server on that game an shoot one time, thats what i want to save... for cs2d..

lol thats the program i use but the sound is low idk how to change it with audacity...

voice comes from humans

This is how you do it
1. Get a microphone!
2. Use Microsoft Voice Recorder (usually every PC has one).
3. Record your 'voice' or something else that you want to record, and save the file as m4a1.wav (don't forget to backup your current m4a1.wav change it to something like [m4a1_default.wav] the game only loads the m4a1.wav file).
4. You are done!
