I just turned cs2d and I havent conected to USGN.
I mean I cant use Network of cs2d

In start of CS2d launching I see this and then "time out".
CS2D was working for me before 40-30 mins.

It seems like someone flooded the cs2d masterserver with servers behind proxies.

it's certainly a dumb attack and I'm dealing with it right now.

edit: servers are limited to 150 now. that's just a compromise until I've time to care about a real solution. at least the serverlist loads now.

You mean if max amount of server will be reached then no one will able to create new server?

everyone can always create a server - it will simply not be added to the list.

thanks to the fags who attack the serverlist. just great.

But always were about 200-250 servers.
Thats not good if most servers will gone

I can't find my dedicated server and join it.

It's really bad that it's not a "connect <ip>:port" command for the console too. GAH.

You should just block IPs pings that have servers over 500 ping.

It's not about the ping. It's about the mass of servers which connect with that many IPs, that you can't block them all

the serverlist has ja "jon by ip"-function which does the same. just click the button and enter the ip. moreover you could just add it to the favorites which makes joining much easier.

blocking is not possible because the ip changes all the timer (there wouldn't be a problem when they ip would stay the same).

however everything is normal again now.
