Hey guys. Its been awhile scince the old mech mod and i have started on V2! This time all the weapons will be redone. However im having trouble with the player sprites again so.... Anyone wanna help?

I need the player sprites to look something like either a mech out of armored core or something like a gundam
if you dont know about armored core or gundam google it.
Also for the player sprites i would like it to be CT 1 is a light mech CT 2 is a medium CT 3 is a heavy and CT 4 is a hybrid for terrorists it will be the same but colored red and CT will be blue

i need sounds for mechs walking (not those clunky mechs like in mech warrior more like gundam)
and futuristic menu sounds. and if possible (dont think it is but mabey) when you start a round it says "let's go(or simmilar) can you change it to "Launching" or "Takeoff!"

Well for walking the format is wave sound nothing really specific as long as it sounds robotic.

For menu sounds format: wave sound. Ummm something simmilar to the doom 3 cs2d mod (ya know *Beeps* and *Bops*) and the starting messages are OGG

Thanks for your help. And I am almost finished the weapons.

I have some sounds, but still I only got future-istic type sounds. i need to make some robotic types. umm. I cant seem to make the steping sounds like you want. I will try again, can you say what you want them to sound like? I'll work on the rest once i read your reply and reaction to the sound pack.
Some are weapons and some are random.

I'm great with music, i can give some if you like. i have 1.5 minute songs that are like 500 kb. It's great!

Hey great to see you mumu I can do the mapping aswell as the weapons. Players and tiles are the problem for me as I can never get them right. I have about 4-5 more weapons and as soon as i can get some spaceship, launchpad, and virtual training tiles I will get working on single player/cooperative and competetive maps. Once its all done i may make a official mech mod server

The sounds are AMAZING I love the chainsaw and menu one. Just incase you didnt know Mechs have human pilots so the radio commands can stay but when you start a game it would be nice if it said "launching!" instead of "move out!" and if the radio commands sounded more like they came over a radio (like with a bit of static but i love the sounds spartan keep up the good work

P.S. I dont need laser type sounds as all the weapons in mech mod will be projectile weapons (Excluding laser and chainsaw)

P.s.s the cainsaw becomes a cool gaint laserblade

or On roll
or something which relates to Start
(launching will be good too)

The thing is as mentioned before mechs have human pilots so all the radio commands can stay, besides they aren't transformers

I got the next one out. I couldn't get a good human voice in my speech program but i did put the epic "all your base are belong to us" voice. also i added a robotic "Launching, Go Go Go!" voice. and of course "sounds by: Spartan-029". IT has more projectile weapon sounds. I also added a taser type sound just for the heck of it. Some impact metal and walking sounds. Let me know what you think. and if you need more, just ask me.

yes they are very well done but pilot voices would be good. Like mentioned before you can get good pilot voices from some gundam episodes.



Ps. maybe you can increase the volume on the weapons

If youve ever watched starwars there "walkers" are classified as mechs but there are diffrent kinds as well. In the game "Lost planet" you have the option to Pilot a "vital suit" wich is also a mech. The show "Gundam" has mechs aswell except the mechs in gundam resemble the body of a human, and are more agile then the walkers from starwars. I am trying for the more gundam type mech as it fits better into cs2d.
