I can't do anything about stupid attacks like this one atm.

Kazuya: If you know this guy you should tell him to stop because it's accusable to consciously crash servers by others. He wouldn't be the first one who get's cease-and-desist order because of that. Moreover you shouldn't conceal information which could help to fix critical vulnerabilities in CS2D...
(however I assume that you are just saying that because you want to get some attention and help)

It's a software that you type the IP and Port of the server and then it sends like a lag wave, that crashes lots of servers. Only BIG servers don't crash.
How I know that?
I had it, but it's not a hack. It's pretty useless since it crashes most of the lag-senders CS2D or even PC.

It's me Blazzingxx is talking about. This is what I got in my logs:

Not sure if he was flooding it with rcon_pw messages or if he was trying to guess the password on the side. Anyway, either the mp_maxrconfails doesn't work or he has found some way around it, because I saw a few of these "ignored" messages without seeing any disconnects/connects inbetween.

mp_maxrconfails works as intended. it doesn't kick or anything. it simply doesn't accept further RCon login attempts (and keeps showing the warning message with the number of attempts in brackets).

this guy either tried to guess the RCon password or he tried to get it by bruteforcing (trying all possible passwords) - cs2d cmd mp_maxrconfails made that impossible. so the attacker failed to get the password.

One time I crashed Happy Campers Server only with simple binds. ( I was testing one thing then)
Code was like:

bind "F5" "serveration 1; serveration 1; serveration 1; serveration 1; serveration 1; serveration 1; serveration 1; serveration 1" and so... many times.

Server crashed.

That server used script, so it wasnt just simple serveration.

uprate6/blackmorpheus used to always hack in cs2d version 0103. he's a real retard and in 0104 the only way to play competetively was in safe dedicated clan servers. because of the poor anti-hack system back then, uprate6 always messed up the non dedicated servers and crashed them.
from my experience, this idiot is the most dangerous hacker of cs2d.

dedicated servers are servers where you do not have to run CS2D to run the servers. Most of them run on v-servers or root servers so they can be online day and night.

clans hosted dedicated servers 24/7, however they did that must be dedicated some how.

the only thing different is that there was no program to download on the cs2d website and you had to set it up all yourself.

@TKD: yes, that's the one I think. it was unofficial, still dedicated.
