AoE requires very low stuff
i can recommend that you assemble one yourself
its just like lego but more complicated

lol at your 500GB suggestion.
E_e

yeah, apparently they get 500GB computers, while I'm stuck with 80GB spit in 3 parts:
> Linux
> Virtual Windows 7 Ultimate (20GB)
> Virtual Windows XP Professional (10GB)

So basically i need a new computer (hardcore gaming [GTA SA] )

First of all I'm going to say that I don't leave in U.S so I can't tell you the right prices, also, electronics cost like hell here, up to 2 more.
CPU:
Ok, since you want a "really fast" PC, I would recommend i7 processors, google and find one situable for you, a CPU is not just "Ghz"

GPU:
I usually prefer ATi video cards, an ATi 4870 would be a sick video card, but if the price is too high go for a 4850.
Always look for the ones manufactured by MSI.

Memory:
I've heard that OCZ memories are very cool, and since you are going to use a 64-Bit OS and an i7 processor, I would recommend DDR3 memories.

Hard Drive:
SATAII or maybe even a SSD.
Storage doesn't matter that much, but the important thing for gaming is the speed of the HD itself.

Motherboard:
One that supports everything from above (:P) and has Crossfire support (if you ever want to upgrade your GPU you will still be able to use both of them at the same time).

Power supply:
Corsair, 600W or even more, it's important NOT TO TRY TO SAVE while buying a power supply, otherwise, say goodbye to all your expensive PC components thanks to a generic power supply.

The price must be like 1200 dollars, i'm not that sure about price but you won't have to upgrade your system in a while (and meanwhile you can even play crysis at max)

Lol, my father found a stack computer in the trash with a missing processer, but it had a 400gb hardrive, good ram, one of the best vid cards, and many other things. In the trash. It's a shame.

Dark Void I got that all but I have only about 800 mb space and 2 Hard-Drives.

@Jonzku777

I guess Far Cry 2 and Call of Duty 4 are like the same from the performance isn´t it?
I would buy something like this:

- AMD Phenom X3 9550 Quadcore 4Ghz

- ATI radeon 4450 512mb HD

- 4GB DDR2

I can run Call of Duty 4 on the highest specs

But what exactly does the RAM do?

I mean, when I look at the offers on newspaper or something, there is only ram reading, and I want to know the GHz`s.

The RAM memory is where the variables, images, audio and other kinds of resources are saved to access them.
More RAM won't make your computer faster, but it will be able to store more data from running applications.

The reason that sellers only put RAM, screen size, and shit in their offers is because people tend to think "Moar ram is moar speed!" but that's wrong, sellers want people to think that because RAM memory is cheap compared to other PC components.

You shouldn't buy a PC at an electronics house or some shop of that kind, you should go to a PC shop, and if possible, you should chose the components, or you may end up buying a PC with 8GB of RAM, 1TBx2 of HDD, but with an Asrock motherboard, an Intel integrated graphics processor and an underclocked Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (to prevent your PC from blowing up due to the cheap power supply and cooling system)

Your processor and Hard Drive are what make the speed. Hard Drives can read at limited speeds, the better the hard drive make the better the speed, but the processor is still the main variable in speed.

I would like to comment on this statement
First i tried running a full 3D game with 192 mb of ram and the result was Fail (game required 512)
Now i extended my ram to 1 gig and when i run the game it works like magic
The processor is now much more faster and quicker
so for me "Moar ram is moar speed!"

Yes, because 192MB of RAM can barely run Windows XP

Edit:
Here are Windows XP requirements:
Microsoft hat geschrieben
·PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended

·128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)

·1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*

·Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor

·CD-ROM or DVD drive

·Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

Windows XP takes about 128MB of RAM and you have to add the RAM that some background processes may be using and the game itself's RAM usage.

Well, ofcourse you need RAM too, or HDD.
The computer does nothing without some of those.

It is just so misleading and annoying that you see like 200 ads that say "Yeah, get this 2 billion RAM pc YEAH".
And only info I could actually use is the Ghz`s.
