i recently found a fan game called mother 4.
since itoi the creator of the mother series decided to NOT make another mother game...some fans decided to make another one.
incase you never heard of the mother series let me tell you about it.
mother started on the Japanese NES console never released anywhere else.
Mother 2 aka earthbound came out everywhere and was most popular in japan.
later mother was translated to be called earthbound zero by some fans and was distributed online.
mother 3 was also only released in japan as Nintendo of america (NOA) decided against releasing it. fans have translated it and distrebuted a patch to the game to translate it.
itoi the creator of the mother series announced there will NOT be a mother four but he said that he didnt care if fans made one of their own. he would even like to play it.

anyway mother 4 is going to be freaking awesome. i want to spread the word about this game and you guys are the first ones im telling! im freaking excited! we have to discuss this. take a look at the screenshots. i still haven't figured it out
Screenshots Looks a bit like Habbo. 
after looking at the pictures,i think its a game like pokemon ,if you know about pokemon,this game must be like the old gamboy pokemon version(pixels) i think its more like golden sun

GOOD GOD PEOPLE! its an rpg game. its NOTHING like pokemon.. in mother 1 and 2 you control psychic children. mother 3 introduces an adult party member. sheesh people learn a little more about the game before judgeing it.

this is not pokemon
you do not fight dragons,jelly or monsters
you fight hippys,maniacs,pile of s**t(believe me its difficult)
The game roxxors and is 10000x better than every RPG
And its much more better than golden sun

you forgot to mention the cancellation of Earthbound 64
the 3D mother 3 I KNOW THIS GAME!!
It`s great, nice and fresh idea for a game - althou I don`t fully get it 
But yeah.. You should deffinetly try this, it rpg!
