I was just curious if there was a server limit because i cant run more than 5 servers from my ip even if i got the ports open. What's strange is i saw another group of servers that were all the same ip and they had like a total of 8 servers. Is this like a limit only used on the windows versionf of the dedicated server? Please let me know. Thanks!

The limit is just only 1 you can't have any more server just 1. The clans have triple because they have dual Cs2D or just got lots of computers that they can use

stop talking bullshit Slayer.
@Stormtrooper: Yes, there is a limit of 5 to prevent serverlist flooding. If you want to create more (e.g. for your clan) write DC a PM with the IP (which HAS to be a static ip!). If DC is nice, he will set your IP to the list of IPs where more than 5 servers are allowed

Thanks guys the problem is I can't pay for a static ip (which stinks) because stupid comcast only gives it out to people using business class. Which I can't afford so I guess that settles that. Thanks again
Edit:
Actually i was curious can i use a dynamic dns from no-ip to make it static? or would that not be allowed/supported. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. Too bad comcast makes it as hard as possible to get one.
