3 replies I was wondering if it's possible to use other models for stranded instead of just b3d's, like MAX or something. If not, can someone convert this lion from a MAX to a B3d If You can convert it from .MAX into .3ds I can convert it for you.If its animated only .B3d models work but Static .3ds models can be used. so you can't do non animated models? Stranded allows you to use .B3D files, .3DS files and .X files as models natively, but only .b3d's have their animation read.
That means you can quite happily use 3ds or X files as item models, but anything animated has to be b3d.
There are many free converters out there. Blender has an exporter to b3d (albeit not good) and biturn can convert quite a few different types, but animation conversion is very limited.
