1 you shouldnt be able to see items behind walls
2 in unexplored areas opposite of the players side of a wall should be complete black not be covered in a light shadow.
it would be a little more comples but it would add so much to gameplay for various game modes such as zombie mod, campaign maps, death match, & much more.
Once the player has explored the area on the other side of the wall then it would be covered in a light shadow as it currently is & items may be visable but im still undecided on that part.
Just my opinion
please just enable Fog of War or join servers with a little cloud icon in the serverlist (you can also enable a filter for that)
sv_fowit's sad that most servers have fog of war disabled because the game is much better with fog of war.
I know about the fact that many people don't change the settings but obviously many turn fog of war off.
so people don't like it. their decision.. I'll live with it
