Isn't there an example included in CS2D?
Check out sys/lua/samples/utsfx.lua

@C will display the message in the center of the screen.

sv_msg ©000255000This message will be displayed on the left, between the normal chat.

sv_msg ©000255000This message will be displayed in the center, so nobody will look over it.@C
