Hi today i want to share my knowledge about skins

First i will recommend you some programs to make good skins:

Ms paint (Specially windows 7 version)
Paint.net
Gimp

Don't use programs with a lot of tools like photoshop.

Now just a litle introduction:

Making weapons it not just about drwing and painting, you also have to add details shading, also you will need to have patience,dedication and a lot of free time

Making weapons usually takes from 1 to 3 hours depending on the size,details and the type of weapon.
Never try to make super detailed weapons if you are just starting, take your time and do some practice before becoming a great pixel artist

Lest stop talking and lets do some practice

2- open you painting program and start by making the base(outline): http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/9313/basexi.png

4 - Start adding details to your weapon, just add the details that you think that are necessary: http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/2281/base3y.png

5 - Fix all misshapes and add shades:

NOTE: i dind't use image tags becuase some of the images where png so the img tags didn't work.

Now just make the in -hand and drop image, the steps to make the drop image are the same as the buy image so i don't need to show the process.

It's because your image is bigger than the maximal size on the site. So, that's why it won't work.
