Just pure scripting

I'm making unique map island, where player takes up the role of Mr.Stranded who war so fortunate to castaway on an island inhabited by a Great Gambling Tribesmen. Although they are primitive, they somehow gained access to modern technology such as airplane and yachts.
You can use their technology to get back home, but first, you have to earn some money. And what's better way, than to gamble your way through ?

Of course ROULETTE

I'll show you how to build a nice roulette without new objects or without having to tinker in the files.

First I just placed a few marble plates...

Then I did some scaling using scale

But I wasn't satisfied with the layout which was made just roughly, so I used this script, which created all lines and columns of the number plates.

This is the result, you can see nicely shaped lines and columns. Then we will use color

colors 2:colors 2:color color color

Then I had real problem to work out how to make actual roulette wheel. It's more like a decoration, but I wanted it to look nice. Who will guess which object I used to make the "wheel" ;)? Hint: I used scale, color, texture

And here's the final result in the game. This is my favorite text script, who will guess what did I use, I'll give him a cookie

So the roulette is built, now I'll "just" make it actually work

i know this is ancient but i have to express my shockedness at the extreme complexetyin this map. no one comes close (in my opinion) to matching huda jans scripting skills

because of your post I remembered that I still had this map in my download folder but hadnt tested it yet so thats what I just did.

I agree that the scripting seems to be fairly nice, from just playing the map (and cheating like a bastard, because for some reason I dont take maps serious anymore so I never have the patience to gather food or anything ), though I didnt look at the scripts closely.

however, since I always lose when gambing the games(*le click*), and there arent that many games on the island, I got a little bored after some time and eventually stopped...

I tried to borrow some money from the loan shark to buy the plane and just leave, but for some stupid reason the game didnt let me be the asshole I want to be in games so I couldnt fly away, go figure
