Try this
Alt+Ctrl+Delete > Task Manager > Processes and end those processes that uses lot of Mem usage or CPU.
Don't end "System idle process"!

Can't end important processes. 
And that's not a solution to the problem either.
He obviously can ping the server fine.

Sometimes a ban can be kick based, are you sure you weren't banned? Does this happen for every server?
Also check if you're using a cached list.
