Ideas For UnrealSoftware Site

DC Is even using Let's Encrypt temporarily feasible? Sites like this is required to have HTTPS because it contain login form. I'm sure it's not that hard to setup if the current server is hosted in Linux.
Waiting the new webserver can took forever, setting up HTTPS (Let's Encrypt) should only took few hours (assume no problems).

MikuAuahDark: Depends on the hoster. For me it's like 5 min to buy and install SSL.

What do you think about deleting old & never logged in USGN Accounts? For instance, there should be a certain amount of time to activate the account after signing in.
This would be an example of an unused account:

yeah. maybe there would have to be a disclaimer or notice tho

MikuAuahDark: I tried Let's Encrypt already and there ARE problems with my server / setup. I'm not willing to invest ANY additional time there because - like I said - I'm moving stuff to a new server anyway.

AtomKuh: This is one of those popular requests which are repeated every few months. I always answered that there is no real reason to delete those accounts but the user database table is slowly growing and I might delete entirely inactive accounts some day. It's still a quite unimportant thing though and I can think of like 10000 other things which would be way more important

ohaz: wouldnt it make sense to implement a delete account function in consideration of the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR (German DSGVO)?

AtomKuh: That's a different thing (manual removal vs. automatic removal of inactive accounts). Of course I can already manually remove accounts on demand.

Oh. Name stuff. No, I never do this and there are no exceptions.
(As soon as I would do it for a single person everyone would ask me to do it. Therefore: Nope. No way.)

Mami Tomoe: Interesting idea. Would probably make more sense in order to get more meaningful numbers for the average user. This is actually true for all of the "per day" numbers. I could also extend that with a javascript popup which contains details with per day and per year stuff.

Holy smokes your still working on Unreal Software. Big respect for such dedication.
Each time a user changes his/her nickname, the Master Data's height panel increases when it has reached the maximum limit of names the panel in question can fit them in. This looks so ugly to be honest.

Maybe using a More tag or else would solve something?

Heyyyy I'm in that picture!!!
I think it looks fine though, I never even noticed it looks that way and I check my profile quite often.

People just shouldn't change their names THAT insanely often. It would be better and less confusing for everyone.
Look at me. I'm sticking to me ultra crappy nick forever.

How about a like, thank you or thumbs up button? This way people who get help from other people could give a thumbs up on the helping posts. These helpful people would get a little "thank you" as a reward, which will be showed at every post they make somwhere where their online-status and name can be seen. Just thaught about it, when I did like to give someone a thumbs up for his post. Maybe people with a huge amount of thumb ups, could get a special tag like "helping master" or somewhat. Just an idea.
