Change title to "What programme is recommended for skins?" or something like that.

There are many of them.

1. MSPaint.
2. Paint.net (I am using this one)
3. Photoshop
4. Gimp
Those are TOP 4.

(Its an edit)

Or,

5. Resize.

The 5 one is for noobs

As for me,Paint.Net is the best one. It is very easy to create awesome skins. I am using it.

Right

BTW,as my opinion -

MSPaint - for some not-so-big and not so detailed skins/sprites. Everybody can use it.

Paint.net - for a little better sprites. Its a little harder to use it,but, when you using it oftenly, you are getting better very fast.

Photoshop - for awesome sprites. Its rather hard to use it. Some pro's can easily make super screens.

So,now you can easily choose

Never, NEVER suggest that. That's the one thing that I and many others do not want to see here. Well, except emo guy.

Actually, quite some skins are made using paint, while most of them are horrible, some are actually quite good

But otherwise, use Photoshop and Gimp/MSPaint in sync, they make skins much better

Also, if you ever do resizes, Expect the entire forum to pile up on you, you have been warned
Back in business, and I'll try not to be the Enigmatic asshole that i used to be....I hope
