CS2D 0.1.2.0 Bugs report
250 replies i dont know, if it is just me but i still have problem with EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION
YES, i re-downloaded cs2d today and at least 10 times since release of new version
but when playing on map with lighting, it just crash in 10 minutes!
I need to test my new map and i cant, beacuse of EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION
Crash: Sometimes game just crashs to desktop without message. Sometimes, before crash... everything is suddenly lighted (like map without lighting system) and in 5 seconds crash to desktop! Sometimes EAV message shows, sometimes "cs2d stopped working" message and sometimes no message.

For flashlight it's obstacle or floor... Fix it, because I can't make maps with fake shadows

this behavior is intended. walls without shadows do not have any influence on light. they don't cast shadows because they don't block light at all.
imagine you place a big sprite in your map and want to place some walls without shadow in order to add collisions. you probably wouldn't want these to block the flashlight because it would look odd.
you have to use regular walls if you want them to block (flash)light. sorry!

DC, will you fix the objects/sprites bug with the lighting system. They aren't covered by Env_Room or lights.

Why do I can vote to kick only a teammate in a Deathmatch mode? Fix it please

MAX-russia: I'm not sure what you are talking about but it's intended that you can only votekick teammates.
note: that /vote id thing will save your vote but it will not take any effect unless you are in the same team as the voted player.

I think it's because people just get mad and try to votekick good players, and someone on the same team is less likely to kick for mundane reasons.
Who needs a sig?

I know, but in a Deathmatch game mode I can vote to kick players that have chosed a team that I chosed (It will be stupid if I will say teammates). I hope you understand me now.
I don't know if it has been said before, I don't have enough time and I also don't know if I am doing something wrong, but I found some unusual bugs in my Townzilla map when running on my 24/7 server.
So I'll just point every problem and you tell me if it has been said or not, and if not or yes, just tell me the answer cause it's totally weird.
Near the huts ( in the left part of the map ) there are black tiles which cover some walls ( the funny part is that those black tiles don't even exist in the tileset, and they appear and dissapear at delay of 1-2 seconds, just like triggered walls ).
Near the huts, if you build supplies, you'll get only the first weapon in the supply weapon list, even though you choose other.
Some NPCs appear as red squares and don't move.
NPCs health is extremly decreased which ruined my Zombie Event from the map.
I would take some screens aswell, but since I don't have much time, I might do that later.

not sure if bug but, when i lag and try to disconnect it takes long to disconnect then says "server has been shutdown"



Guys. Does lighting system work on mac?
It should.
It works on OpenGL and DirectX.
