Well, since the last days my video-card is having issues like black stripped screen, misplaced screen (like out of the monitor, so the left part goes to the right and vice-versa) and even went all black around a hour ago.

It never happened before, it's a relatively new video-card (a bit less than 1 year), i checked it physically yesterday (removed, cleaned, and re-attached everything all right) and nothing is wrong.
The curious thing is that it only happens when i'm playing a game that requires much performance of it, if i'm playing for example Red Orchestra 2 for around 10 minutes this starts to happen.

Does anyone have an idea of what may be causing this and how to possibly solve it?
Thank you.

Over-heating. Check your fans. Maybe they are dusty. Or you should buy new ones. Also, get some thermal cooling paste and place it in the gaps. I don't really know how to use it so google it.

I got a ATI Radeon HD6950 which has 2gb, it's way better than this one.
If i got to buy another one it will be probably the latest releases of GeForce or something that takes longer to get out dated and actually excels at performance.

Anyway, i already cleaned it as i said in the OP, but i was suspicious that it's overheating as you said.
I'll open the Cabinet and start it so i can see if the fan is all right, which i suspect it's not.
This never happened before, the first time this happened was when i played Red Orchestra 2 for around 2 hours non-stop, which isn't something the video-card can't handle, i used to play even more time anyway.
Thanks for the help.

No, it burnt, no more use for it.
I am actually impressed on how much life-time these products have, i mean, can anyone tell me other valid reason to buy a video-card other than gaming or 3D developing?
Both require you to use it a lot, which automatically requires the creators of the same video-cards to make it with a huge lifetime, mine took 1 year to die, so my conclusion is that people who actually develop video-cards are retards, considering the fact that they can't make something that will last more than 3 years.
