Hello everyone,

I recently switched my whole computer's system to a Linux distribution - Ubuntu. I followed the instructions from the Linux guide and everything worked just fine. But I have 2 problems.

1 - How to run CS2D in fullscreen 32-bit color mode? It worked in 24-bit only for me.

2 - When I try to connect to a server which sends me files ( the map ), the CS2D client gets crashed and in the console appears : "Core dumped - segmentation fault". Any fixes for that?

I never had this problem on Ubuntu 9.10. The only problem was sound but I somehow fixed it. Maybe try re-installing? Tho, I bet you've already tried that.

I suggest for you to re-download and if that doesn't work, I'd just use wine..

• I'm not really into Wine when I have a Linux client, but if that's gonna be the only working way, then I'll use it.

CS2D is imho not a game you should play in full screen.
Also, I also cannot run it here in fullscreen 32bit. I get this message:
