Lots of people ask to work continued on next version minecraft 2D by Tajifun ! But, I think that he don't have enought time to do this.

Already done by Tujifun and isn't so good.

Factis, me and probably half of this community that can script tried to make Minecraft for CS2D, but failed or just was slower than Tujifun.

Yep, it's impossible to be done (yet). I've worked on a good map generation, and failed due to slowness of image loading.
Wait till DC will improve the images, and maybe then it will be possible.

That's why Tajifun's mod suck imo.

I did not find a way to reduce the lags during the map generation.
As long as this won't change the mod will be a bad one..

In the first editions of Minecraft 2D, it will not generate the terrain.

You would use another application to generate terrain and then save it to txt file. CS2D wouldn't crash.

Btw big map with lots of images will always lag, deal with it.

I'm pretty sure this was the case with an old RP one. It lagged extremely hard.
