Ok since some hacking stuff has appeared once again I'd like to ask something.

Some time ago I noticed that there are two versions of unrealsoftware.de (once I typed address without www. as I'm used to for every address and logged in to site but it was really laggy so it made me suspicious and I remembered that real site started with www.)

So, is it a phishing version of us.de? Maybe that's the cause of stolen passwords?

Are you meaning if we type with "www." or withouth ?
if yes, please fix your brain

If there's any diference, that diference is only the page loading speed-up starting with "www."

EDIT:I think i didn't understand what are you meaning... (I think u said if it starts withouth "www." the page will not be the same)

Sorry for ma english

It.. looks like the exact same site. And how the heck would a phishing site be able to access the USGN (it shows your profile and shit).

both starts with http:// and ends with unrealsoftware.de so it is impossible to have 2 same. Well I tryed www.unrealsoftware.tk and other shorten domains there are no other than this us.de.

It is possible. You could register a domain without www. and lazy people could phish your credentials if you were fooled into logging in.

I'd suggest people who do not understand the domain name system to read an article about it. In simple terms: ".de", ".com", ".net" are "top-level" domains. When a domain is registered, you register an 'identifier' on top of this TLD, ie. "unrealsoftware" or "google", so as long as this identifier and the TLD are correct, the domains are owned by the same person/company/group/whatever.

What the hell are you talking about.. you buy domain example.com you own it, "www." in reality is subdomain (called A record). And only you can add, edit or remove these records.

WWW is considered a sub domain to store cookies for that domain only. Without the WWW would save cookies to any sub domain under that domain. Used for sites that need separated cookies.

So as long as the main site is correct, it is the legit us.de website so you can rest assure.

I'm a graphics and web designer and I have managed many community websites so I'm fairly confident that my information is correct for the most part.

Why they have to make a phising site when they have the USGN data.

The fuck are you on about?

He thinks that the password to a USGN account is available on the user's profile, perhaps?
