Dicker's right.
If you want somebody to help you, then show them your work. Show your game here. Otherwise you'll never get any partners.

And please use the edit function instead of making several posts in series.

Well, Dicker has also never said that he'll help you.

And first show your game, then ask for contact. Otherwise it won't work.

No, I won't help you. You want reasons?

Even if your game isnt actually playable yet, at least show us what youve done so far. Seeing that I'm on break I wouldnt mind any game making as long as it doesnt involve programming cause I really suck at programming I can help with gfx sfx maybe model making.

go on other sites to find members help you with the "prosject". if you don't want to share or tell something, why should we help you? if we help you our work won't be recognised!

I have to correct skiper: Only DC is able to delete posts, moderators can only close/censore/move threads and mark posts as spam etc.

@drice: If you don't show your project here, you won't get any help. Speaking of people who could steal your idea doesn't change that.
So either show your project or don't ask for help. If you really want to get help, you can't hide your project.

@HW: He won't get it.
I think he hasn't written 1 line of code yet.

@"Mr. Prosject": What ideas can you steal from a CS:S clone? If you have an awesome concept you don't have to explain it everyone but you should show an evidence that you've done something. If you don't you will not find members and your threads to this topic might be closed.
If you say that it's complicated it doesn't help too, but the people may think that you're not able to make a game. Give us at least a link to your personal homepage.

Say at least: What programming languages have you learned??

Dicker"Say at least: What programming languages have you learned??[/quote has written
That would interest me to.

BTW, there are nearly no new concepts, and anyone can have invented your idea parallel. Hardly anyone of us will steal your idea if it is to complicated, and noone else is looking here.

If youre doing a clone of CSS you WILL need some help if you want it to be somewhat playable and somewhat fun. You might be programming in DarkBasic (only relatively free 3d engine I can think of right now) or whatever the hell you want to, remember CSS is on the Source engine, and thats a lot to live up to. But if you want this game to have some sort of fun in it, you will need help and if you dont ask for it properly, by actually showing us your idea, your not really gonna get any help.
BTW- its ok to tell us your idea, this is the cs2d forum what kind of ideastealing pirate roams these corners? its a CSS clone theres gazillions of CS and CSS clones out there.

@dr1337: darkbasic is free? when I heard of it last it was at 40$, and that was a month ago!
The only useable free Game Engine I actually know is Irrlicht.
