Someone tried to hijack accounts today by simply trying to login into a huge amount of accounts. The attacker was probably using a common password which is used frequently.
So don't worry if you received a warning about failed login attempts. Nothing happened. That guy failed and I already increased the safety measures even more.

That person tried it with at least two different IPs. He continued with another IP after I added a firewall rule to block his IP. Afterwards I blocked the second IP as well.

It's rather something similar to BruteForce attack.

It was a brute force attack. The term brute force doesn't say anything about the quantity of used PCs. Just about the principle: Dumbly trying all possibilities. In this case: All accounts (he didn't have enough time to really try all though).
btw: I removed pointless quotes. NEVER EVER quote the entire post of the user who posted just before you. It's totally pointless! And imagine the next guy continues the same way! OH NO! It leads to a pointless garbage monster quote which kills us all!
