As everyone know and as DC mentioned a lot of times it's impossible to delete self's usgn account.
But, i've just been curious about what i saw here
the user's account in the top of the page is certainly deleted
how that could happen ?? .. i can't find an answer except that DC or a Mod deleted this account for a reason or another, which is normally unusual in normal cases
also he's name is weird but i'm not sure about that

I think the users that have un-clickable names were only guest and they were allowed to post on the forums without needing an account. I'm not really sure. I think this feature was only available in the old US.de.

TimeQuesT: Try to click it. It says deleting the account is not possible.

TimeQuesT: Tell me you are joking.

Yeah US used to have "guest's" back before, but they of course were removed eventually.
As far I know, not a single account has ever been deleted, but I can't remember why there are empty ID's anymore.
Maybe due email registration not being done it time, perhabs.

Just to confirm this:
Yes, those are guest posts (posts by unregistered users). Of course posting without registration is not possible anymore because there are too many idiots in the internet who would just abuse this to cause maximum chaos and destruction. Take a look at the date of these posts. You won't find any new ones.
Yes, missing IDs are caused by users who register but do not active their accounts (activate = click link in registration mail).
There never was an option to delete accounts as far as I remember (at least none that actually worked).
An option to remove accounts will NOT be added in close future.

DC: Could you consider to migrate unused U.S.G.N. ID's sometime? I think that would be good if done like each month/year to maintain a nice database which doesn't contain unused user ID's. To migrate user ID's and fill the database with actual users instead of having user pages that appear erroneous would be great and wouldn't take much space if all is done correctly.
The downside with this is that most of the Lua scripts that use defined tables containing U.S.G.N ID's will have to update their tables with the new values. That part should be relatively easy... however a suggestion would be perhaps to automate the process of migration by means of creating a way to synchronize old user ID's to new user ID's.
Any opinions regarding this? would it be ideal to do this or should the database be partially filled with unused accounts? I'd be for a migration of the user database although it would cripple lots of Lua scripts (U.S.G.N. ID authentication Lua scripts in particular) as stated. However less unused ID's would be great.

KimKat: There is no good reason to fill the gaps which outweighs the contras which are:
IDs of new and old users would be randomly mixed up. Currently you can see by ID how long someone is registered (low: long, high: short) which is simple, clean and good.
ID allocation for new users would be more complicated. Well, it would take 1 minute to do it but still...
... but most importantly: People would go mad and complain. Most people want to have low IDs. It would not be fair.
So this is a thing which clearly won't happen.
Btw.: Unused IDs do NOT take any additional space in the database and they don't really have any bad impact at all.

Everyone knows that. It has even been mentioned in this thread already. That's why I added the "not working" part in the brackets

Lazy fatass.
I bet DC isn't allowing us to delete our accounts because he doesn't want to let them (to unrealsoftware addicted users) go.
No, there is simply not a single real reason to do it and I just listed 3 reasons not to do it (even though I have to admit that the second one is no real reason either). Also I think it's quite offensive and inappropriate to call me "Lazy fatass". Whatever. It's off-topic anyway and I guess I can close this thread.
