Hey! My friend have a problem about CS2D. He just simply can't open it. I remember we did a lot about 2 months ago to open his 2D, but the result wasn't good enough. I think it's because of his computer, i'll let you see :

Do you have any idea how to run cs2d from his computer? If you do, please share your knowledge here, we'd like to play together again

When I try to start CS2D in fullscreen mode in Linux, I get the same error. But CS2D uses windowed mode by default, so it's quite strange.

right click on your desktop with your mouse of course than click on properties and than go on settings and change the screen size on the down left corner to higher than 640x360
We tried the stuff from FAQ, we got the latest drivers, then some old ones, same problem.

Try installing other directx packages and some graphiccards needs a seperate opengl driver, you'll find them on nividias homepage
Drivers installed?

I think it's a fresh install of Windows 8, and no need to reinstall CS2D too, i am sure this is driver problem
CS2DArchive - Version Database www.CS2DArchive.com - WebHosting: www.BroHosting.eu

Excepps Violation Error? Go Unistall and Reinstall CS2D

And please, look at the image that OP post
to OP: did you try directx mode?

I'd try different bit modes and all different compatibility modes. If that not helps go back to windows 7:
good old desktop, no wifi bugs and no mouse issues in games ftw.

Does he have DirectDraw and Direct3D enabled?
Tell him to type "dxdiag" in command prompt and check if he has. It could be that his graphics card has failed or some screen problems have occured. Potentionally it could be that his graphic card is not initialized correctly and other hardware problems. That's all I can tell from the screenshots given.
