Hello guys again D:.. This is my first topic at this section of course.. and I thinked about my mapping so I tried to make a map, and the result didn't really was great but you still can view the pic:



It like taked me 30mins to do it but.. I wanted suggestions/idea's so I can add to this map and upload it..

Suggestions in comments! please and if you disliked it.. Tell me why and say me what to put new on it!

Well, this map doesn't look really bad and my rate for this map is 9/10.

Well, just a small thing to consider about this map: Make sure you complete this map (is small when i see it in the screenshot of course).

And i thought these tiles are made by you, anyway it still looks good.

Correction: It's small not is small

also.. I will soon complete it and give you guys the result of completetion..

I also though that I can't make a map with such new tiles but I've tried and that's my effort.. anyway I will soon complete it

The map is really bad because:
The tiles aren't used properly
You try to make it symmetrical but fail
There is only one bombspot which means everyone will go there and so having a bombspot overall is useless.
You tried to use lightning and failed
Half of the map consists of nothing

Overall 3/10 - really bad. Start from scratch and actually put enough effort.

@ Rainoth: You were the only one wich says bad to every of my efforts.. no seriously that irony., Giving some efforts isn't allowed here, oh my gosh.. why all of you "hates me"and simply not give a small note.. like just a 6 can make me happy.. , I tried my effort.. why you say bad.

Epic note.. Who doesn't like my map or he will give a note lower than 6 he don't need to comment.

@ Inflexion: your effort is not is nothing .. missing tiles yet , besides the map is to small

@ Inflexion: If you don't want to listen to the people who think your work is crap, don't ask for opinions. Your work is crap. You've put almost no effort into this. Random structures with no flow or purpose, poor use of the tileset. Get used to people disliking your work, because until you are at least decent, that is what they will do.

To add to DannyDeth's comment, I didn't only say that it's really bad. I pointed out WHAT is bad. That's already better than all the people who say "it's okay" because you get an idea of how you can improve. Look at things I mentioned and try to improve your map making depending on that.
My friend once read my essay and told me: "Shit you made, shit you'll get" Not exactly the best way to show this situation but you can relate.

This is a horrible map. Don't get a big head just because ZxC is messing with you.

The layout is random and makes no sense.
- wide empty areas
- one tile tunnel maze
- insufficient cover
- inappropriate use of tileset
- unbalanced gameplay (whoever spawns bottom right will never be able to secure the bombsite first turning this into a crappy trench war)
- half assed use of the lightning engine (notice how the border tiles are bright and ruin the already terrible look of the map)

EDIT: Wait you're the guy who downloaded his map 80+ times a couple of minutes after uploading it. You should have learned from de_night bro, no matter how many times you download your own map a shit map stays shit and nobody will like it. Do you plan to do the same with this one? Because that would be hilarious.

The point is not to shut you down. The point is to show you mistakes and let you learn from them. That's how you learn pretty much everything.

I've noticed one thing on ya guys, you just do it like you were boss's. I try my efforts and you dislike everything.

Maybe there's a reason we dislike everything. Or maybe we're just assholes.

You ask people to rate it from 1 to 10, but then you cry if people rate it below a 6? Why did you make this topic in first place?

To be honest this map is the biggest crap i've seen in the last week. Gotta agree with @ Rainoth: and @ Time:
You totally failed at mapping, like i said more than a 1000 times already, check existing successful maps will just freaking help you to improve your not existing skills, knowing how to place entities and knowing how to place them correctly is a big difference. Same goes for everything else you do.
Just learn the basics of mapping before you even start to share your "work" here. I dont want to offend you with what i wrote, but it makes no sense to share beginners suff at us.de as we expect greatful files with atleast nice content to see that site got some quality files on it and not only things i would do when im totally drunk.
