Hello guys, Well today I was telling to @user NiceBoy: to join my server, currently after some seconds he joined.. after his joining, we played a bit.. some mins later when I get back from toile* I wrote the command !g 2 to go into his position and CS2D got closed and uninstalled completely..

Note: and Yes my computer is full of pranks/viruses..
Tell me a solution that could completely help me to fix that,


PS: I don't enjoy my time without CS2D..

As you staded the point out, the problem is the viruses and other kind of malware that's infecting your computer and your files (which the malware has infected your CS2D too and this malware unistalled CS2D without the attention of the user).

To fix this problem, you must install a strong and a good antivirus that detect almost all (or at least) kinds of malwares and make sure you scan everytime your computer include all your files of HDD and the system to prevent further malwares.

I was serious with my post. Wipe hard drive and reinstall Windows. Safest way to get rid of viruses.

Or y'know, don't do anything and let your folders just magically disappear.

@user Inflexion: A deactivated virus scanner is as efficient as no virus scanner at all. CS2D doesn't simply delete itself (in fact it can't even do that) so you should really try to clean up your system. There are also many other free programs for that if Avast does not work for you anymore. Just use Google to find them.

I don't fully get your post. However malware and viruses can be installed in many ways. In most cases without the user knowing or noticing. So the number of games on your PC is unrelated to that. Of course it's also possible that you got an infected version of CS2D if you downloaded it from strange non-official mirrors.

The only client file which is transferred to the server and all clients is the spraylogo if it is a custom one but this file is encoded as a simple 1kb grayscale value array so I doubt that you can use it to distribute viruses unless BlitzMax image functions are totally unsafe crap.

Only the server can send you other files but this is also restricted to some certain file formats. Of course executable files and stuff like that are not permitted.

They could send stuff outside CS2D though (using other tools/programs) when they know your IP.

There are hundreds of anti virus and some of them are better than Avast.
And next time don't download random programs that contain suspicious malwares.
