Someone need create a MOBA script to cs2d, like league of legends / dota / heroes of newerth..
RPG anyone? no? ok
Is death truly a bad thing? If it is, then why do we all get to experience it? And... Why does it take so long? - What is the meaning of death?
i remember when 3 years ago i tried to make esf mod dragon ball im bad at scripting but i still managed to make 3 characters and even make then turn into ssj ssj2 eith hair ofc and face original my point is you should try to do it by your self i did i never even made a thread about it because i didnt want to fail like others creates post but after some time stops working on what they promised lol and yes i never finished that mod pc had virus so formatted

_Yank: Exactly... when I tried making the map, alone, it would load as slow, or even slower, than actual MOBAs ._. .

Nope.
Instead, the good old CS 1.6 Warcraft 3 script could work, the servers that ran it were fun and I'm sure it would be fun in CS2D as well if done well.
MOBAs tho? Please no, there's enough MOBAs out there, CS2D doesn't need to be crossovered with everything.

We tried, it was too resource-intensive and awkward. I do think about it every now and then, but there's no easy way to adapt MOBA gameplay to CS2D since they're just so radically different.

I do not think so, I agree that if approached by usual way it is definitely not easy, but there are options how it can be done with help of a rather original approach. If you would be interested - I can explain how to do it.

I can not explain how to do it.
Alrighty then.
Well let's look at this in details:
Firstly, originally, we have 32 slots for players
We have 4 towers on 3 directions for each team = 12 * 2 = 24 tower which can be done as script (
Starkkz's Turret Pack (17))
Directly in game involving 10 real players, 5 for each team
So total we have 22 player slots still available, but MOBA (in this post I'll try to stick to facilitated conditions of DOTA) requires creation of "creeps". In typical wave we have 2 type of creeps (in a simplified form - 2 melee-range and 1 long-range creep)
So if we using bots we can have 22/3 = 7 packs and 1 creep
For creeps spawns in forest we can use combined version of standard and virtual NPC which can be done with script
Starkkz's NPC Pack (46)
It is required to remove default "immediately firing" weapons and snowballs would be useful as most convenient for players weapons.
...
I have another ideas - but I'm not sure that anyone would want to do MOBA in this way.

Of course it's possible, anything is possible. However, I don't think recreating DotA in CS2D would be worth the time and effort put into it. Even as a perfect replica, it still wouldn't feel like an actual MOBA. Creeps being bots, I can already see creeps wandering about everywhere they're not supposed to be. Give them some waypoints, they'd still behave like children on crack. And another problem is the fact that people could leave and join on the whim, it wouldn't be immersive and people wouldn't even take it seriously.
The closest you can get to a MOBA in Counter Strike, while still making sense, is replicating the Warcraft 3 script from the olden days of 1.6. Just a few more "unique" classes and it almost feels like a MOBA and FPS hybrid.

And ye,
Yates, actually right.
Don't try to make MOBA mode for this game, nobody won't play this with much of lag.
