i wanted to play stranded ii, but its impossible to play for me even in the menu. i have like 1-2fps.

my pc spec's:

-gtx 970 4gb
-intel i7 4790@ 3.60ghz
-16gb ram

my os is win 8.1

i really have no idea why it laggs so much.

It's probably because of Direct3D 7 it uses. I guess it's not well supported by newer Windows versions and GPU drivers... which is no big surprise because it's from 2000

I've got the same problem (Windows 10), but it doesen't lag in window mode, so you can try using that if you want.

i know its a dumb question, but how can i play in windowm ode?

In Stranded II directory there should be already Stranded II -w or -window .bat file so launch it
