This is only a screenshot with a name. Not even an IP nor a U.S.G.N. ID. It could be anyone. I hope you understand that Unreal Software can't ban people based on such vague reports.

Of course it's still legit to post such events to warn other CS2D server admins.

Today Evaldas ddosed some servers (i wont say which cuz probably the number of ddoses will duplicate on the server).

I dunno how Unrealsoftware cannot have an active on-game moderator.

@ Lobwver: Because it doesn't work that way. A (D)DoS attack targets the servers themselves. Unreal Software is not involved at all and has no chance to do anything against it.

We could ban related accounts but that doesn't stop (D)DoS attacks because you don't even need an account for that.

So there is no way to stop these ddosers?

Ugh, I don't see a reason of a ddoser starting doing that, it's simply childish ddosing other servers because you got killed unfairly or someone insulted you, cs2d was great, but now it's filled with kids/hackers/cheaters, still waiting for it's rising thought.

Permanently banning a user isn't effective at all and it could be way more worse. If we would perma.ban every DoSer's account here, the chance that one of them would go batshitmad and attack Unreal Software website as well is high. Such situation like this happened when someone was temporarily banned for spam or kind of that (can't remember...) and flooded the whole US.

This proves that permanently banning (or even temp.banning) someone takes lots of caution. Performing such attacks can be easily made but tough to stop. Nowadays we should supervise our networks and be well prepared before the attacks target us.

Bullshit. Keep banning them. I remember all of them screaming and crying in a corner because they lost their U.S.G.N ID which is mostly used to save in-game player data.

Ban them and get it over with, then ban them again.

Sometimes it seems as if everyone forgets that these people are also players and invest time into servers they like. If they host servers - blacklist their servers. If they have a U.S.G.N account - ban that account.

There is another way to stop a persistent idiot.
Instead of preventing it digitally, you can also counter it by attacking on psychological means. It's sadistic, I know, and it has its limits, but you can, by doing what Yates said.

I just posted if anyone could test my server filter, because me and my provider finally found way to filter some common attacks.
But here came yates and posted about me false information, like I would be really bad guy. And then his loyal buddy came didn't asked what, how and just repeated that yates told and locked the thread, I was slandered, so thats why i made another thread by explaining everything. But then again Yates and his best friend came and did the same thing, but this time I also got ban for 3days.. And in this time then I couldn't post or do anything else they created thread posted some more stuff about how evil I'm and pribably soon they will post more lie how I praise satan and etc.
How this crap started? Answer is Hajt.
He told to ZxC and maybe some other people, and now they started to find some proof about my cruelty. So people started to asked my can I ddos theyr servers or even theyr home connections. And latter some of them tried to be my ass licking friend, and gave some questions like how many accounts you have, can I join your clan and other stuff.. It was a shame.. They really think I'm that much stupid. Ofc I gave them that they want a huge smiling face and alot fake information.

My connection is about 15mbps I can't DoS outsite world only local, only could test short duration attacks by asking people from all kind hacking forums.

As I know Hajt doesn't have any information, what kind of attack it was, nor bandwidth consuming size. He probably doesn't even know if someone send him dos attack or maybe its was just somekind client sided bug like reload glitch or server sided lua error. He just knows that I was online at that moment. Maybe hacker at the server ddosed it then i was sitting in spec so everyone would suspect me.

Also I go work everyday so don't forget to fake log time from ~17:00 to 04:00.

Also mp_floodprotection sucks it blocked everyone who tried to view my server. Reason: "flooding inforeq"

Everyone who played on my server knows that you're ddoser. You're just a liar who destroying servers, that's all. The scenario is simple: Evaldas |*HackersClub joins to the server, gets ban and a few secounds later server is crashed due to his attacks. He's uses Stresser service, exactly method DRDoS and protocol SSDP. I even have tcpdump files but he didn't attacks my servers from local computer...

It's not the first time when this guy crashing servers. He also doing that long time ago. If you remember server called UNLIMITED CONSTRUCTION you should know that mainly due to his attacks the server has been closed.

Congrats now you are a stupidest user in usgn because i already told how to protect from it, because my server was flooded with these attacks most of the time.
