Hello, I've been facing a problem with cs2d lately and I seem to be the only one having it so there isn't much I can do.

Everytime I enter any server in about 10 seconds everything freezes and gives me the response that the server has shut down, I wasn't always facing this problem and I haven't changed any settings in my pc, it just happened one day and doesn't seem to stop. When I re-enter the server, for a few seconds i'm double entering the server where I can still see the name I logged into the server before.

Btw, I've tried re-installing cs2d and it doesn't work.

No where near 10 seconds but whatever.

It looks like the server and you lose connection and no longer pass data. Either the game actually freezes or your Internet is pretty crap.

What are other servers like? What Internet connection are you on? What is your ping in-game? Do other computers work?

@ Yates: Yes, but the time ranges each time but it always freezes.

I've tried another pc connected to the same internet connection and yes it also happens on other pcs.

My ping is between 80-90 (it's quite normal for me) and there aren't ping jumps when it happens.

I've been using this internet connection for a long time in this game but the freeze thing is new so if you have any suggestions I'll gladly try them

I have a feeling you faked it. Whenever it sends you back to main screen, why do you always open the menu? also, if it's true, try dial-up. no, I'm not kidding, try it.

@ T-69: It's really uncalled for to tell people that their problems are fake.

I've narrowed the problem to my wifi, I've tried connecting the laptop to my cellular network and the game works fine. I'm not quite sure how one day the game works great with my network and the next this happens. Is there any solution apart from changing my wifi plan/provider?

It may be interference. It may be your provider. It may be your modem or router. We can't tell for sure.

Best thing for you to do is lookup Internet failing once every minute or so and see how people solved their issue.

Try other online games and see if you have the same problem there. Also, tell your internet provides to help.

That's what I m having while playing my favorite servers. Open game join server and game freezed I tried with data connection and with 2 different PC's but nothing fixed

Something like that is happening to me, i enter in the server and play normally, then, randomly the guys in the server stops walk, but i still moving and shoting, but when i recharge the gun, the progress bar of the recharging stops and then i have to wait some seconds to the game continue to run normaly.

I think that i randomly and suddenly lose the connection to the game for some seconds, and after some seconds the connection return... But the detail, when the game stops my internet connection stills run, i dont lose the internet connection, only the game connetion.

Anybody can help me?

Try changing your DNS, IP or your internet service provider.
