Hi us, I want to ask about bots in cs2d. Why bots in earlier versions of cs2d be smarter. For example, they were aim beforehand if the fog of war is turned off e.t.c. Degradation of bots ?

Which version do you refer to? The only big change was that I switched from hardcoded AI to a Lua scripted AI some versions ago. This might have affected some small details but it's basically still the same AI.

It is and always was pretty dumb and basic though. I never invested much time in making a high quality AI. Everyone can work on improving the AI though by modifying the AI Lua script @ bots/Standard AI.lua

That will be why then. Bot AI got switched over to Lua on the version after that (0.1.1.8).
