When watching the video of the CS2D Max Menu,
I noticed it said ''Kick after x Hostage kills'' when making a room, so it's like basically after u kill a/some hostages u get kicked.. Ok it's a good idea for Counter Terrorists that do it on purpose or something, But Terrorists can always kill hostages if they want.. Look at the word '''Terrorists'' .. Do you get it? Ever watch movies? Ever watch the media, tv, etc.. Terrorists are able to kill hostages but the CT can´t since , well thats obvious, they are there to save them. So what do u people think

Thats why no one play on cs_ maps, the n00b terrorists kill the hostage, then CT cant complete the objective! That is necessary!

Sorry I had to remove a lot of posts, but simply because they all contained quotes of the fighting and continued to steer away from the original topic.

My input, combined with the removed ideas of leegao and Marcio, is that, first of all, this is a necessary implement to the game. It is a feature built into the real CS (1.6) and will also allow for more fair gameplay. Furthermore, in real life, Terrorists do sometimes kill a hostage or two as example, but, in general, would not wipe out all the hostages, as the defeats their goal of gaining attention and ransom money.

Also, realize that this is a game, not real life. The game must operate under semi-perfect conditions for the purpose of gameplay value. It is not meant to be 100% realistic.

Unless anyone else has some final constructive thoughts to put into this discussion, I will soon close this thread.

anyways, here's my reasons:

#1 In Practicality, Terrorists needs to preserve the hostage's life in order to get what he wants, therefore, he should be punished when killing a hostage, and not just monetary justification, but kicking from the server

#2 CS2D is an analogous 2D version of the Counter-Strike series by Valve. If you really want to discuss this issue, it is best if you go and post this concern at Valve's forum, CS2D is only a copy of the original CS

#3 In theory, killing hostages will give an unfair advantage to the terrorists so this must be prevented

#4 (directed towards the last bits of BlaH's speech
This might seem irrelevant to the subject, however since BlaH has brought up the fact that in Movies, all terrorists kill their hostages, however, CS2D and especially CS is a model off of real world experiences in which threats are usually as far as it goes until the required negotiatory terms are met, and thus, it is impractical to not include the option of kicking hostage-killers
