could it really take 2 years for a mod? i dont know anything about mods other than the fact that they are like exspansions to a game so i dont have a clue as to how long it takes to make one but isnt 2 years a bit long?

oh thanks. Satis could you post any updates you might have on this thread? thanks

Yes, when I got the time for it
I allways post updates here on the same time I posts updates on my own s2 cmd A New World forum

Still have not made any changes to this mod for over 1½ - 2 month now :S
I'm busy playing wow and beside of that, all the rest of my spair time goes on a new website I'm designing for Dungeons & Dragons v3.5 and I can't find the time to sit down and playing around with S2 atm.

I know that i looks dead right now, until I get more time, but frankly I would not call it dead but it's set on hold untill I gets better time.
If it would have been shutdown I would allready have anounced it.
as flying lizard said, A mod is somthing that takes alot of time and koncidering and it's wise to back off some time, so you dont get bored with your work.

Another thing is, that I might turn this project over to a groupe project instead so I'm not alone in doing this mod.
Have allready got some that are willing in helping me in this mod.

Hay i dont think realesing a beta is good until you have all the items you intend to add finished and think that the ids are all done

thats if you do a beta

cause i can understand not wanting people to be upset at a bad beta

but it will help because having many people play it will make it that bugs will show up more

May I ask how did you do the thing it hides the skill features, from levels that aren't reached?

I did that with at script checking if you have a specific skill level and then led it message uot only that text if it minimum have that level

anyway, I need to take my min of this project and I don't know when I will continue this mod.
The problem is that I forgot to take a backup of this mod and I lost a hard Disk. That HD that this mod was on and I now have to start from scratch again :S To start from scrats again, is not somthing I have planed to do again or I have not time to do so.

So Flying lizard, can you please close this topig, since I will not continue this.
I hope it will ba reopened when I again got the time and have startet from scratch again.

Kind regards
